4/12/24: The 11.5 has been officially announced, and we can finally talk about it. The preorders are open now for this version of the gun, and the 9 inch variant at this moment appears to be a limited release. The pricing on the 11.5 remains the same, and any preorders with $100 deposit will enjoy the $750 pricing for this rifle. The release date for the 11.5 is roughly estimated for June, but we want to stress, this date is still tentative. Regular pricing without a preorder, remains at $780 tag price from us.
3/19/24: We've received delivery of our batch of guns, and will be getting more information soon on the CNC lowers. Final pricing on the CNC lowers and details will be posted, and preorder customers will be updated, as soon as we get the information.
3/06/24: We've received word that the Spear LTs are due to be released in the next couple of days. Official word is out now. For all those who opted in for our engraving service and cerakote refinishing of the lower receiver, the price has now been reduced to $150. We will be contacting all those with a preorder shortly in the next couple of days to settle the necessary balance on the guns. We cannot get anymore allocation of guns so effectively our preorder is closing as of right now. If anyone wants to make an order for one, it will have to be from the next batch, but we expect that to happen very shortly given the popularity of this gun. We thank you guys for your patience throughout this preorder!
2/28/24: Due to the gun being FDE, it would require refinishing to engrave. We will be offering an engraving and cerakote refinishing of the lower receiver for an additional $200. The refinishing process will be properly heat treated and done properly. This is opt in and not mandatory. We are expecting the guns to be released soon and will post further updates when we hear about them.
1/18/24: At this moment it appears like there will not be an engraved version. We are working on a solution to offer this as an optional after sale service before the gun leaves Taiwan. Quantities of the Spear LT first batch appears it will be limited as well. We also got word there will be factory parts available for an 11" configuration.
We just received the go ahead to start taking pre order allocations for the APFG MCX Spear LT! The following is some information for those interested.
The guns are $750 before associated costs to import through our service. There is a $100CAD Deposit fee to preorder. edit: This is an early price on the first batch, the gun going forward is $800. This is due to a price increase from the manufacturer and distributor which was posted today. This deposit is nonrefundable but will contribute towards the $750 for the gun. Please refer to our ordering information FAQ for an idea on what associated costs are involved!
As of this moment the guns are stated for a March release, no word on the beginning of, or tail end of.
As if this moment we are hearing they are not engraved but this likely will change closer to release date. At that point we will offer the engraving service but keep in mind it will add a little bit of turnaround time for your order. The cost of the engraving service is not decided as of yet, but expect it to be $100 additional like with the Rattlers.
First come, First serve. We maintain a list with an order for those two place their pre orders first, and they will be receiving their rifles first.
Due to the way the supply chain works, we will do our best to obtain as many guns as possible for the first pre order batch, but we cannot guarantee enough quantities for what likely will be a very popular release for people further down the list, nor do we have any idea on timeframe for subsequent batches. But needless to say we believe APFG knows about how highly anticipated this release will be, and will be producing them as fast as they can.
While unrelated, this is also a good time to notify you guys that the previous MCX Rattler has been discontinued and only the RSAR SOCOM Spec with an M4 lower is available only as of now.
